LEFT Geoff's place, my home for two nights on Magnetic Island. The hut in the immediate foreground is the kitchen, shut early each night to keep cute possums out! RIGHT Rainbow laurakeats being fed with honey-soaked bread at Geoff's Place. Feeding time occurs daily (4.30pm) and is an impressive spectacle. What seem like thousands of green birds descend noisily in anticipation of being fed, then swoop when the food appears
