Fraser Island, Australia: September 2002

From Mooloolaba, my coach heads towards Noosa, north along Rainbow Beach (RIGHT), then onto a short ferry ride before reaching Fraser Island, the world's largest sand only island in the world.

On landing on the other side, the coach pelts down a heavily tyre-ridden coastline and through forestry, to reach Lake McKenzie (BELOW) , a gorgeous secluded area, apart from hordes of other tourists!

RIGHT In the afternoon, we move on to Eli Creek. A wooden boardwalk follows up the creek, where it is possible to jump into the stream and drift back down to the beach!
